Lazy Bear Saloon

This cozy restaurant space designed by Abueg Morris Architects of Berkeley, CA features a hand-applied wall finish that adds an industrial flair to mid-century inspired decor. The stairs leading to the mezzanine-level lounge are flanked by custom-dyed Graphite plaster topped with a mica-infused glaze that add sheen throughout the space. This finish highlights a beautiful sculptural wall element on the stairwell and gallery walls throughout this comfortable, welcoming eatery. Rich wood textures, wraparound leather banquettes, and touches of cabin whimsy are highlighted by the subtle texture of the walls in this comfortable lounge area overlooking the open restaurant below.
